The QUESCRAN Education & Vitality Forum was a landmark moment for Scattered. We were invited to present our work to a room full of decision-makers — provincial officials, university principals, non-profit leaders, and school board executives.
The event ran over two days. The focus was on how the education system can better support neurodivergent individuals — and Scattered was there to show what that can look like in practice.
Our presentation centred on the Headspace Method and the real impact our workshops have had on communities across Quebec. We shared stories. We shared data. We made the case that mindfulness and automatic writing are powerful tools — not just for creative expression, but for emotional regulation and self-discovery, especially for neurodivergent youth.
The room was engaged. Attendees asked thoughtful questions about how our methods could be brought into school curricula and adapted for different age groups and neurodivergent profiles. The conversations felt genuine and full of possibility.
Beyond the presentations, the forum was a chance to build real connections. We met key partners who expressed interest in collaborating — and in bringing Scattered’s workshops to more schools and community centres across the province.
The QUESCRAN Forum did more than validate our work. It opened doors. It set the stage for Scattered’s next chapter — and showed us that the education sector is ready for what we have to offer.
