Holiday Market Fundraiser

The Scattered Holiday Art Market was a festive celebration of neurodivergent creativity — and a chance for the community to come together and give back during the holiday season.

Hosted in partnership with the CIUSSS and local programs supporting individuals with cognitive disabilities, the market brought together talented artists, musicians, and community members for a truly special afternoon.

Here’s what made it unforgettable:

  • Unique art for a meaningful cause Visitors browsed and shopped one-of-a-kind holiday creations — hand-painted ornaments, greeting cards, gift bags, and seasonal décor. Every item was made by a neurodivergent artist. Every purchase went directly back to the programs that support them year-round.
  • Live music by neurodivergent musicians Throughout the event, live holiday performances filled the space with warmth and festive energy. The music wasn’t just a backdrop — it was a highlight in its own right.
  • Community booths and program showcases Each booth featured artwork from a different local program, along with information about the organization behind it. It was a chance to learn, connect, and celebrate the work being done across the community.
  • A bake sale with a bigger purpose Attendees could also donate toward holiday gift packages for individuals in mental health hospitals — delivered on Christmas morning. A small act of giving with a big impact.

The Holiday Market was more than a shopping event. It was a reminder that art has power, community has heart, and the holiday spirit is best when it’s shared with everyone.
