The word was getting out. And South Shore Vibe wanted to hear it straight from the source.
Young Voices of Quebec — the youth-led podcast created by Scattered in partnership with MEPEC — was invited to be featured on South Shore Vibe, a community radio platform with a reach across the South Shore of Montreal.
The interview shone a spotlight on something important: what does it actually take to give young people a real voice?
Scattered and MEPEC shared how they work together to support youth aged 12 to 19 through every step of the podcasting process — from brainstorming ideas to developing content to hitting record. The goal has always been the same: give young people the tools, the space, and the confidence to speak their minds on their own terms.
The South Shore Vibe feature was more than an interview. It was a moment of recognition — proof that youth-led storytelling resonates, and that the community is listening.
